Analytics Not Updating? Troubleshooting Guide

If your analytics data isn't updating, here's how to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Normal Update Schedule

**Understand expected timing:**

**Weekly analysis:** Every Monday morning

**GSC sync:** Weekly with analysis

**Charts update:** After each analysis completes

**Real-time updates:** Not supported (by design)

**Normal delay:** 2-3 days due to Google's processing

Common Issues

1. Analysis Hasn't Run Yet

**Symptom:** No new data this week

**Check:**

Last analysis date on dashboard

Should run every Monday

Check activity log for completion

**Solution:**

Wait until Monday analysis completes (usually 8-11am)

If Monday passed, wait until next Monday

Pro/Business: Can trigger manual analysis

2. GSC Connection Issue

**Symptom:** No performance metrics at all

**Check:**

Settings → Integrations → GSC status

Should show "Connected"

Check last sync date

**Solution:**

Reconnect if expired

Verify correct property

Wait for next sync

3. Recent Website Addition

**Symptom:** Just added site, no analytics yet

**Timeline:**

First analysis: Next Monday

First complete analytics: 2-3 weeks

Historical data: 90 days imported

**Symptom:** Limited analytics access

**Check your plan:**

**Free:** Basic metrics only, 4-week history

**Pro:** Full analytics, 12-week history

**Business:** Extended analytics, 24-month history

**Solution:** Upgrade if you need more features

5. Browser Cache

**Symptom:** Data looks old

**Solution:**

Hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)

Clear browser cache

Try incognito mode

Try different browser

6. Data Processing Lag

**Symptom:** Very recent data missing

**Normal:** Google has 48-72 hour delay

**Example:**

Today is Wednesday

Latest data from Sunday/Monday

Tuesday/Wednesday data not available yet

**Solution:** This is normal, not an issue

Diagnostic Steps

Step 1: Check Last Analysis

Go to Dashboard

Look for "Last Analysis" date

Should be within last 7 days

If older, analysis may be stuck

Step 2: Verify GSC Connection

Settings → Integrations

GSC shows "Connected"

Last sync within 7 days

If not, reconnect

Step 3: Check Activity Log

Go to Activity page

Filter to this week

Look for "Analysis Completed" event
